WE ARE GOING TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT...

ANCIENT  EGYPT  

 -First of all, you have to go to

 . Find Topics - Topics A-G - Ancient Egypt.

-Now, take your notebook and copy the first text about ancient egypt. Write a title before writing the text.
- Then, do on-line the next activities:
  . Ancient egyptian animals.
  . How to make a mummy. (You can use the dictionary.) Copy on your notebook how to 
     make a mummy.
  . The river.
-At the end: Hieroglyphicsare (ancient egypt symbols)
  . Write your name in hieroglyphics (You have to use the Hiero-Writer)
  . Copy it on your notebook.

A CRAFT

Find and cut out a picture from a magazine (it should be about the size of a piece of paper). Animals, nature scenes, cars, buildings, and works of art work well.

Cut a piece of white paper to exactly the same size as the magazine picture you cut out.

                                               

Cut the magazine picture into strips.

Glue half the strips onto the white paper, 

positioning every other piece where it would be if the picture were intact.

 

Complete the picture, using crayons, markers, or coloured pencils to draw inside the white areas. They have to use logic and their imagination in order to fill in these regions.

Now you have to do one about fruits for the Fruit´s Day at School.

En alguna ocasión todos hemos hablado de Inglaterra, de Gran Bretaña o del Reino Unido, pero ¿es lo mismo?.

Ahora tienes que buscar las respuestas a las siguientes preguntas:

1. ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre Reino Unido y Gran Bretaña?
2. Situa en un mapa los distintos paises del Reino Unido.
3. ¿Cuales son los días festivos nacionales del Reino Unido? Cuentanos algo de cada uno.
4. ¿Cuales son las flores nacionales británicas? ¿Porqué?

Copia las preguntas y las respuestas en tu cuaderno de inglés con el título UNITED KINGDOM

What You Need:

• Paper (make sure it is square).
• Scissors (and some adult help for the littles).

What You Do:

 

1. Get a square piece of paper 
2. Fold your square in half diagonally 
3. Fold your triangle in half - again diagonally 
4. Fold paper in thirds ... one side to the front, the other to the back.
5. Trim the extra piece of paper off the end of your small triangle.
6. Around the outside of your triangle, cut some fun designs -- circles, squares, triangles, squiggles ... anything goes.
7. Unfold your paper and look at your masterpiece.
8. Voila! A snowflake to hang in your window.
