ROCK ART AND CAVE PAINTING

Cro-Magnon man painted marvelous paintings on rock walls

They drew stick figures for people, but the animals were well drawn. They used natural colours for painting.
This autumn we are going to study the rock art at our school. Teachers will explain to us about these period and we have to make a painting like the cave painting.

To make an old paper

To age paper take the paper you want to age and coffee, or coffee instant can be.

Then pour the coffee on the paper, you can use a cotton ball or brush. put a cardboard underneath to avoid a mess on the table.

Turn the paper over and do the same operation.

Leave it to dry, if you are in a hurry you can put it in the microwave 10 seconds on each side.

Then paint an animal like rock art.

Paper Poinsettia Flowers

Materials:

red and yellow construction paper
scissors
glue
hole punch

Instructions:

fold a piece of red construction paper in half. Rub your finger along the crease so it's a nice clean fold.
Cut a half petal shape out along the fold, so that when you open your petal it's symmetrical (the same on both sides) with a fold down the center.
Repeat this process until you have five petals

Use a hole punch to punch out a number of yellow dots from the yellow construction paper.
Assemble your flower by gluing the five petals in a circle and gluing the yellow dots in the center.
